Hey all, I'm new here and hope to contribute to this tribe.

Question for all...What are your praises, struggles or wishes currently?

Praises would be that I have my own apartment cuz having a roomate can such so much especially as my sleep patterns are not consistent. Struggles, there's always struggle...isn't life just a struggle? As for wishes...ah...buying my own place in Europe, having steady gigs and traveling!

What about you?

I think we all have demons that haunt us (life experiences that sucked ass and we haven't processed them).......some worse than others.

It's so easy to see yourself in others .......helping others, seeing their issues so clearly.......then looking at yourself in the mirror....."oh shit, that's me?".

Life tends to get so full that I find myself longing for those quiet moments where I can process. Just sit and journal for an hour, stare into space, be quiet, draw a card. When I do get those times when there is nothing going on I cannot get my brain to slow down enough to take full advantage. I am thinking of what needs to be done, who I have neglected to connect with, and the list goes on. Other than meditating how can you find balance? I swear when I am not balanced out I am running on a higher frequency than I can maintain. Time to start making an intentional effort to create time and breath.

Breaking out of old patterns

Old patterns, thought processes and ideas can be hard to break especially if you are conditioned to think of something as/in a certain way. Breaking free from this mental plane is so refreshing and can give a person a whole new outlook. One where you are more free to breath, and just be in the moment without all of that brain chatter bossing you around.
Anyone experience a though process, idea, pattern that needed a re-vamp or to be dumped completely?

I am about to embark on a trip with my sweetie across the globe. I came to the realization that this is the first trip, out of the country, that I have taken where I am not running.
My life is full. I am happy where I am, and I get to travel and experience a new space knowing that. I feel so refreshed and exilarated.
Ahhh...to find peace in oneself is a breath of fresh air.

On Friendship

Friendship...
A beautiful connection with others who you adore, respect and cherish.

Yet what do you do when you grow apart? Friendship takes work like anything else, but what if the motivation to pull a friendship back together is not there? Does that mean that it was never truly as strong as you might have thought? Or is there a time when people just need to grow alone and perhaps you will come together again?

What is the absolute one thing you won't tolerate?

For me, it's selfishness. I think it requires more effort to be selfish than it is to be selfless. In regards to selfish people they can be in so many ways...not sharing, putting themselves first, self centered, etc.

I'm pretty laid back and open minded but when it comes to selfish people...sorry..uh uh...don't dig it and zero exceptions!

What about you? What can't you tolerate?

I have learned there is more to love and loving a person than holding them so close they are not able to grow in their own right. I also am a believer that two people can grow together when there is a connection that is filled with energy, love, compassion, trust, truth and all that lovely bliss... It is just so important to allow yourself and your partner to take time to heal, grow, JUST BE.

Looking back on past loves and relationships in general this is something that is new to me, and oh so beautiful. I used to feel hurt if a lover, friend or anyone asked for space to be...even if it had nothing to do with me. It is an egotistical outlook to think another person's desire for time has to do with you. Sometimes we all need time to think, process and gain a better understanding of who we are and what we wish for. This is in itself a gift we can give to others~being true to who we are.

Ahhhh...lessons are so gravy.
